District Under Registrar Tarkeshwar Pandey visited the ancient historical Buddhist site Titir Stupa area located in Titira Bangra village of Jiradei block on Tuesday. First of all, Lord Buddha was worshipped.
On this occasion, Krishnakumar Singh, the founder president of Titir Stupa Development Mission, told about the ancient historical importance of Titir Stupa and the archaeological evidence obtained from the excavation of this site. During this, a discussion was also organized, in which Laliteshwar Kumar, General Secretary of Nation Creation Campaign, educationist Ganesh Dutt Pathak, South Korean researcher Amitabh Keshav, young painter Rajneesh Maurya also participated. All the intellectuals involved in the discussion agreed that the development of Titir Stupa area can become a strong base for the development of tourism in Siwan. This can change the fate of the entire Siwan.
Titir Stupa Development Mission President Krishna Kumar Singh told District Under Registrar Tarkeshwar Pandey that all the literary evidences, travelogues of travelers Fahiyan, Hiuen Tsang, Etsing point towards the historical importance of Titir Stupa. Sufficient amount of Buddhist period evidence has also been found in the excavation of the Archaeological Department. This site should be developed and Buddhist Park and Buddhist Study Center should be established here and Titir Stupa area should be declared as an archaeological site soon at the government level, then a large number of local and foreign Buddhist devotees will start coming here. District Under-Registrar Tarakeshwar Pandey also said that this site holds enough possibilities. With the development of this place, winds of prosperity will blow in the area.
Amitabh Keshav, a Buddhist researcher from South Korea, told that positive energy is felt in Titir Stupa area and this place is the best place for spiritual practice where amazing power is felt.
